well the unnamed band consisting of ribbon on lead guitar dillon on keyboards and me on drums jammed on tuesday and it was (to me) our most progressive yet. we jammed a bit of scar tissue, californication, otherside, a day in the life, sweet child o' mine, seven nation army (not a rock song) and our own instrumental piece..it was pretty good coz ribbon managed to make an intro for it which was nice and a good solo...i would particularly genre it as classical in the beginning ,alternative in the middle somewhat like rhcp mixed with cranberries and then the solo is rock and rollish like the who...
so thats it

A part from one of my favourtie movie/musical : Across the Universe it has 30 plus songs from the beatles (its just apart of the movie part 10 online)

okay well i got an injury but the thing is im not really tinking much about it..coz im so used with hockey balls hitting me....well last year was 3 times.....the worst was when one of it hit the back of my head..wasn't as bad as borughton's but still painful....if im nt rong it was ryan's flick..but so used t it hahah...and on tuesday akhi...zengkai..bryan..coleman..darrel and I were doing shortcorner trng during recess...i think =our basics were pretty alright...our problems...my stopping gets a bit behind the d at times and will take up time for hitter..hu is either akhi or sam..but well i really cnat tell h's better coz akhi's hits are stronger than sam;s but sam is more consistent.zengkai's pushes are more or less accurate but needs a little more power..bryan's flicks are amazing enough..but he could practice to deceive the keeper by changing direction...so we have our flaws and strenghts..well tt day zengkai pushed the ball and it was kindaa bouncing and well i tot i could stop it but it bounced from my stick and deflected to under my eye.well it was painful for about 2 secdons and later on it jst simmered down...so i went to pe deppt got ice...sterilizied the bruise for 3 hours! haha AND i still have to sterilise it...but heck it was pretty cool hg=ahaha...oh yeah and in the UWC match..we won 2-1..we shd have won more but it was amazing how abrar scored both..i liked his first goal he stretched out wide from ryan's cross i think...and deflected it into goal the 2nd one i didnt see...but ryan..marc..keith and tim chan..winston stood out the most among the rest..they played really well muthu did well too..in fact the whole did well int he 2nd half...i didnt play coz arul said i was injured but wth it was just my eye..anyway about 5 ppl didnt play including nithi and sara would be 7 coz team can oni have 20 ppl and arul wanted those who didnt play to play..well UWC girls wre damn irritating..haha ryan asked thm to shut up...well...it was a thrilling day and im looking forward to jam...wah lao!hole year never jam!!!

we almost won....bryan lin scoerd the first one after abrar did a splendid dribble inside the 'D'...and passed to bryan who swept it in nicely...later on was ryan singh who did wonderfully to score as he dribbled past those in the 'd'. Midfield was good...and defense was only good during the 2nd half but i would have to say the defense had to run alot...ppl like muthu..gareth did very well.jonaathan was good in the 2nd half but the first half he was a bit unstable howvere he did a good job overall like everyone in the team..!Well done Sji and btw ryan was suppose to have 2 goals after he had a penalty flick which he scored but ref overruled it as he said he/she didnt blow i think it was the lady ref..however collin an ex-joe who went to sajc..said it should be a goal coz the ref said ready and pointed towards the ball...wah lao weh!

Okay i noe ive posted alot today but who cares???? anyway im listening to master of puppets now.I know you dont care but im just bored.And I'm very bored now cause i have not jammed for like 4 or 5 weeks and i'm really scared i get too flimsy i'm practicing in pillows for now and i think i got run to the hills by iron maiden almost perfect. The trooper is pretty hard but i'm not going to try it for now.The thing i don't get is that i can do the intro for run to the hills with one hand on the hi hat but it says that i ahve to use two hands i guess its just to make it sound natural. I'm still trying to figure out how bonham does foll in the rain coz i cant read tabs and i dont bother coz i intend to be a freestyle drummer hu injects his own creativity. And well reuben wants to jam with a two of his friends,one is a singer but i dunno if we are ready for one yet...and another guitarist who apparently won a guitar competition...i wouldnt mind jamming with him but i have no idea about his taste? is he a yelllowcard? or a mix of rhcp and the old rock like me?Anyway i'm just glad that ppl are willing to jam with us! Oh yeah and i figured out stone cold crazy on furniture i got the intro for it on drums...and part of the middle..but i have to figure it out on a whole piece but exams are coming and i cant believe that even though i studied for the indices test i was confused in the test on how to turn the negative prodduct to a positive one! omg i cant get that rong! Ok and if anyone who is reading this, can play the guitar? sing? or play bass? or keyboards and i have not jammed with you before and most importantly do u like what i like in music? if you do,can we jam sometime? oh yeah i got some personal anecdote to do which is killing me! coz i have not been on a holiday overseas! So i guess i have to do birthday but its not that interesting so im gonna lie that the cops came to my house coz our china neighbour cmplained our karaoke was damn noisy and the police couldnt understand him coz they were both malay adn they had to wiat for 1 hour until the one of the chinese policeman came...yeah...it's lame if i can ill try find something funnier or more interesting...and hockey is well pretty stressful on me on the fitness part coz after friday i had a major problem with my feet...i dunno why but when i jogged ojnt eh spot it was serisouly a pain i cnat explain..and ironically im listenign to lucfier sam by pink floyd and syd just said that somethign i cant explain! lol!!!well i can do the spin now ! yay!but my flciks have yet to improve and my speed!honestly how can i train my speed i need a treadmill!

OK i have deleted the juke box and changed it so go check it out its pretty different...and well im pretty happy that i was able to rite a song that was pretty good i dont have a title for it but its meant to be something like pink floyd coz its somewhat meant for roger waters or david gilmour to sing it. The song is in my test pad i cant rmbr the whole thing and im damn lazy to fetch it so ill post it either tmrw,later or someother time. And i watched some rockstar supernova episodes on youtube and i have to say the band sux! I mean wth!lUKAS rOSSI WON! wth! i wouldnt mine magni winning coz he has good song choices and he can sing...i liked it when he sang hush by deep purple and fire by hendrix his rendition of smells like teen spirt was not tt good.Another one that was good was storm large!she has good song choices.She sang wish you were here by pink floyd and helter skelter by beatles which are amazing songs!But vocally she ain't that good..but c'mon lukas rossi with Tommy lee jones ?jason newsted?gilby clarke? wth????????? I mean i really dont like supernova. I mean from motley crue...MetallicA...Guns N roses to some shitty band omg! First of all tommy lee is an idiot...i just hate his habits...Supernova sucks in my opinion..it was seriously a disappointment for me. I am sure any rock fan or metal head will hate it if u like it i dont know what the hell is rong with you. Lukas Rossi???? Well for the past weeks of january i have learnt to really fully appreciate the wonderful works of pink floyd. I mean they were geniuses....Their wonderful album the wall was amazing..it was an amzing idea by roger waters who spat at a kid who was trying to climb up to the stage and he was really depressed after that.He realized there is a big barrier between he and the audience and therefore the song hey you which is omg!!!!!AMAZING!It frking gives me goosebumps!and the whole album....listing as follows...

the beatles

obviously a great band from the 60s and they still remain a wonderful influence to any who like rock and roll and/or wanna start a rock band.ringo is a wonderful drummer who was known to be good for his in rhytm scales which was not very common in those days like dj fontana of elvis who was known oni for solos...if it wasnt ringo there wouldn't be a portnoy...a neil peart or a keith moon.Paul mccartney..pure talent i would say...he is so talented he could come up with a song in in a matter of hours with lyrics and music.But i would have to say john lennon is alot better than paul in lyric writing coz paul is all about love and very seldom about in depth matters.George harrison was a great guitarist and great sitar player not to forget his wonderful piece which still remains my most fav song by the beatles..while my guitar gently weeps...solo was good riffs were good lyrics were good voice was good drums were rhytmic and bass was good too!Butcompared to lennon george was no better than him in lyric writing coz john had ideas.vast ideas..its like he planted a plantation of songs in his head.John was an important base for the beatles...his distinct and lovable voice his piano not so much of guitar but i really really really loved his lyrics especially the pshycadellic ones which had a lto of melody and sounds like what u would wanna sing every day while walking to school...lucy in the sky with diamonds..tomorrow never knows...i am the walrus and also the meanigful ones like a day in the life and his own songs like imagine and give peace a chance.

Queen

Queen was well..queen coz freddie was a homosexual and since calling a band of guys queen instead of king is girlish but it never did occur to me it sounded gay i felt it sounded awesome..tts the art of it their first success the name!freddie mercury is hands down one of the best singers in the world! freddie is amazing his composin..piano singin and his wonderful showmanship on stage which is just his active persona which is awesome!too bad i wasnt born then.Freddie composed alot of songs for queen..bohemian rhapsody!killer queen!crazy little thing called love!somebody to love!death on two legs! his genre of style varies alot there heavy metal,rock and disco! His live performances are so good!i mean his performance with the others of queen in live aid in 1985 was voted the best rock live gig ever!It was so good all 72 000 in the audience clapped sang and wayed in unison! u dont even get that in school!well he was gay so what?John deacon was amazing too and he was in my books superbly underrated.His basslines in songs like the miracle, mustapha ,another on bites the dust and so on are just classics..somewhat ike john entwistle.Roger taylor is also a very influential drummer with his basic and also nice combos and styles like in stone cold crazy..just great! Brian May is known very well for his guitar solos at least to me it would be somewhart like squeezing something out with all ur force...i love the sound he makes but i would ahve to say that some of his things were freddie playiong on piano first.

1.Master of puppets from master of puppets

Kirk hammete,James hettfield,Cliff burton,LArs Ulrich

DUH! its is one of the best songs the best thrash song! omg just the first note of the song will sned shivers down ur spine i swear! its like the whole song is a guitar solo by kirk...and the drum pieces were great!and i think it was jason newsted on bass and he did a good job too and james' voice was so outstanding AS A metal singer...

2.Fade to Black from ride the lightning

Cliff burton,Lars ulrich,James hettfield,Dave mustaine

In my opinion the best song from metallica..awesome combination of the two guitars in the intro..lyrics were great what more could u want? and rmbr this was from dave mustaine and not kirk....im not saying kirk sucks but techincally dave is clearly better than kirk judging from the songs eAach of em were in...and mustaine still is better than kirk in megadeth but kirk is still awesome

3.One from and justice for all

Great song..was the first metallica song to have it one video..the intro is awesome and later on when it slowly progresses to heavy..'darkness invisiting me all that i see absoloute horror! i cannot live i cannot die....' that was my favourite part of the song!

AT that time the heaviest track u can find and it was the heaviest to me in the very commercialised black album which was managed by bob rock whom i disliked coz of his taste which is so cliched but i mean if u wanna make money bob is ur man! sad but true just makes u wanna pull ur hair out! and the lyrics omg its awesome!

5.Seek and destroy from kill em' all

It was personally my most fav track on kill em' all it was this kind of song that u would wanna sing while u are fighting a war sigh* the good old days of MetallicA...And metallica did seek all the hair metal bands and destroyed them with this wonderful masterpiece!

6.Battery from master of puppets

This was their secon best song from master of puppets...i rmbr hearing the vocals in this song and it was just so angyr like i was banging the computer coz it was frkign lagging!

7.Enter sandman from the black album

I rmbr hearing this song the first time and i loves it so much! but it got really broing when i kept listening to it on and on...but still awesome riff..it was the kind of song that will really awe u when u see it live!

8.The call of ktulu from ride the lighting

Clearly the best instrumental from metallica to me even better than mast of puppets coz it was not really fast it was not that heavy but it was smart and just so smooth than it was like honey dripping in your ears even though it was still heavy!

Megadeth did cover this song and renamed it mechanix but dave had all rights to do so coz he was in metallica hen he did this song mechanix was much much faster than this and it was to prve that megadeth was better than metallica but to me i t told me thaat megadeth was good!but dave was a sore loser now back to the song well it was just like any early metallica song long instrumental intro and a frking heavy sound!

10.Wherever i may roam from the black album

A frkin awesome riff progressing from a sitar riff to a distortion and drums went pretty well with the guitar riff and well lets jsut say it's a well gelled song!

Vh1s Heavy: a story of metal is an awesome documentary series where they grab a few heavy metal bands to talk about....segments of ac/dc, van halen, kiss, led zeppelin, Judas priest, Iron maiden, Sabbath,Guns n roses,alice cooper. From Black sabbath to even linkin park! ( i noe linkin park aint metal but thats nu metal a rap metal thingy don't worry there isn't much on linkin park and all that stuff more on the older stuff and erm...more gross stuff like marylin manson in seek and destroy episode) and even the invention of air guitar and cardboard guitar..lol...ok so there are 4 episodes on youtube about 42 minutes per episode..so here's a video from the first part of Heavy: a story of metal episode: welcome to my nightmare...

The Name...sabbath

well the name black sabbath is really an awesome thingy and all but do any of us know why it was such and how it came about..well geezer butler..bassist of sabbath dabbled in witchcraft and black magic but never has he encountered any thing serious.One day..Ozzy brought this book about black magic u can say it was satanic and all the front of the book was well as many would call it the satan sign or whatever but if im not rong in a book i saw its some other thing but i rmbr it was something about the 7 angels..some of em were like raphael and all and they revolved under the other planets...well in it were satanic stuff and all but were written in latin. There was this sketch of satan where he had a head of a bull with big horns and had a human body with other stuff..so on that very night when geezer when to sleep....he woke up in the middle of a horrible nightmare...He woke up and he saw this black figure staring right back at him from under his bed..wouldn't that freak u out..he was so scared he stopped dabbling in black magic and told ozzy and the rest about this..and ozzy being the lyricist came up with the lyrics for black sabbath the song...which was about geezer's encounter with the "black sabbath". And Tony Iommi discovered the tri tone which was (in the medieval times) banned anywhere for it was the call for the devil...some even said there was something very sexual and evil about it that it seemed to conjure the devil...The group was so fascinated by the song they decided to call themselves black sabbath...And when they striked a record deal..the reviews were unanimous.."absolutely awful". Well heavy metal was new back then and in fact heavy metal wasn't even created then in the early 70s...Sabbath was the first metal band..and well only the kids that were their age liked sabbath.. they were the only ones that enjoyed it. Tony,Bill,Ozzy and Geezer didn't want to change their style they loved who they were and the kids love em'.So they decided to frighten people... and it really pissed magazines off when they said there shouldnt be a sabbath that they sucked coz when iron man,paranoid and other tracks were out they had to take back whatever they said.....

How was the heavy metal sound made?

ALl of em' being born in Birmingham, UK, IT was different from San Fransisco in the late 60s where they were all listening to songs about peace and love. Birmingham was a cold and black country back then..Metal.Metal everywhere...metal factories were very common. Geezer even said that he couldn't even study coz there was always the metal hammers bangin here and there...And that was where Tony was working and he was about ti resign to pursue something else on one fine day and the guy who was suppose to cut the metal was on leave or something and so they asked Iommi to take over for just tt day coz he was the only one left capable.Tony didn't know how to cut metal and so his hand was on a machine and "BANG!" THE HAMMER fell on his fingers. That was the end of tony' right hand...Being a guitarist it was difficult with those fingers..but he realized that when he melted bottlecaps and put it in the shape of his fingers and played..It gave a much heavier and more dramatic sound...That was how heavy metal came about...and the rough cymbal crashes and hard kicking bass drums by bill wad accentuated the distortion from tony and the hard and low bass sounds...ant not forgetting ozzy's persona as the scary man...

This mtv awards was really funny coz there was this tiff with axl and kurt when kurt and courtney (kurt's wife) asked axl if he could be their kid's godfather (jokingly) and he just went and looked very mean and pointed a finger at them...so kurt was really surprised and 3 of them (after performing) went.."hi axl!" and not to forget krist dropped his bass on his head coz his amp was not working..and kurt said the word retarded out of the blue in the song when it isnt suppose to be..and he also said im so happy coz today i shaved my hair and stuff like tt coz he did cut his hair lol..what a rock star!

Mike Portnoy is the drummer of progressive metal band dream theater.It was mike,John Myung (bassist) and John Petrucci (guitarist) who at first started of as an instrumental band called majesty as they struggled not being able to find a vocalist until they found Kevin Labrie (who changed his name to James so as not to create confusion between their keyboardist,Kevin Moores with him.)and then later Kevin as keyboardist...Now on to Mike...Well he is the 2nd (youngest)person ever since Neil Peart of Rush (also progressive metal) to be inducted to the modern drummers hall of fame at the tender age of only 37! Like anyone could have seen that coming after he won 23 awards from modern drummer magazine.

After Kevin Moores left the band after the release of "awake" Portnoy has filled Kevin's spot for writing some of the lyrics...but he has been writing quite an amount from change of seasons onwards.Now onto biography...Mike,born and raised in long beach, New York.His dad was a Dj and that was how Mike got introduced to bands like beatles, queen, led zeppelin, the who and yes.Mike self taught drums but still attended some music schools.It was in Berklee College of music and arts where he met petrucci and myung and formed majesty that would become dream theater.

He was mainly influenced the most by neil peart of rush and also had favorite drummers like John Bonham, Vinny Colaiuta, Peter Criss, Keith Moon, Phil collins, Bill Bruford, Ringo starr and simon philips.

Portnoy is also well known for his various "killer" drum sets..like purple, green, red monster, siamese monster, images and words kit, awake kit, Liquid Tension Experiment kit, Transatlantic kit, The Mirage Monster, The Albino Monster, hammer of the gods, Yellow Matter Custard kit and the OSI kit..

Mike has a wife Marlene, a daughter Melody Ruthandrea and a son max john and a dog bonjo and a cat cypress. In Mike's yearbook after graduation it was written that his ambition was to be "the next neil peart" and we know he's almost there... The kit show is the siamese kit.

The Beatles number 1 album...abbey road with john Lennon, ringo starr, George Harrison and Paul McCartney.Album includes a song sang by ringo Starr himself...octopus's garden and hit tracks i want you (she's so heavy), come together which was also a song aerosmith covered. Also here comes the sun and maxwell's silver hammer but come on aren't all Beatles songs good! My personal favourite is maxwell's sliver hammer because of the creativity and the catchy lyrics,Paul's voice and just everything about the song.This album sure does leave me singing the songs everyday on my way home form school.Most of all is definitely the album cover itself that intrigues most people to it.

And not to forget cool lyrics.Metaphorical and meanigful to all of us to treat those who helped us with gratitude.But nevertheless the music is great.Iron man is from the album paranoid (1970).The song won a grammy for best metal performance in 2000 30 years after the song was released!!!It also gained number 1 spot on VH1s greatest metal songs of all time but god knows what happned to rolling stones!310th positon outta 500 what on earth!well looks like rolling stones has moved along with the shallow lot.

Mothership by led zeppelin..a compilation album.ALl musci guide rates it 4 stars but i would rate it 5...album includes hits like whole lotta love,ramble on, dazed and confused, achilles last stand, kashmir and so much more..with 3 discs it is a must buy album.disc three is a deluxe edition dvd.It gained 7th position in the Us for selling 136 000 copies in the first week!released by rhino entertainment and atlantic records on november 12 2007.The album will also remind us of John bonham's masterpieces and how led zeppelin have etched in our heart ever since the the 70s.
If you are in london or soemthing dont forget to try ctach the reunion concert..it's so good they are gonna choose people to wtach through a lottery!!!!Sorry the track listing is too long...

Steve Harris is also known for playing an increasing role in mixing Iron Maiden's albums as well as producing them, and has done the work himself since Fear of the Dark. Harris also directs and edits many of the band's music videos, particularly live ones. He also owns a farm with music recording facilities. Harris' land has been used to write Maiden's albums on numerous occasions.

Harris has also been involved in backing vocals for Iron Maiden songs since the band's inception. Since his fellow backing vocalist Adrian Smith left Iron Maiden in 1990 (replacement Janick Gers does not sing), he has not been credited for this (after Smith's return, backing vocals have remained uncredited), since a single backing vocalist lacked as much and Harris' fame purely as a bass player had been consolidated by this point. However, he has continued to provide backing vocals when playing live performances of older Iron Maiden songs with the band. He is also well known for conspicuously "singing along" (off microphone, mouthing words) in live performances.

he was known to have an incident with a chicken once..well, oen time in a gig a chicken suddenly came onto his stage and he though chickens could fly as they had wings and he threw ti to the crowd bu it plumetted to the audience and the chicken was ripped to pieces.the next day frank zappa( his manager) called alice and asked if the rumour taht he bit the head off the live chicken and drank its blood on stage, was true. Cooper denied the rumor, whereupon Zappa told him, "Well, whatever you do, don't tell anyone you didn't do it."[6] Zappa considered that kind of publicity priceless for the band.The incident was rated as no.12 of vh1s 100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll in 2001.

Bob dylan said in a rolling stones mag,"I think alice cooper is an overlooked songwriter".

Robert plant...vocalist of led zeppelin..anyone can easily guess robert plant simply by just hearing him on the radio his voice is just so unique and its just flawless.
He was born in august 20 1948 from west bromowich,west midlands,england. He is also the well known songwriter of led zeppelin.He has also dont solo projects after led zeppelin's break up after bonham's death (after taking 40 shots of vodka).

he was actually in led zeppelin because jimmy page was turned down by terry reid who was his first choice.Plant has also found it weird of people to think of their music as heavy metal whereas almost a third of their album was acoustic.

he was also involved ina car crash with his wife, Maureen in 1975 in rhodes,Greece.therefore this affected the band being able to perform live and make new albums until plant recovered.

He then embarked on his solo career after the breakup in 1980.By god's grace thankfully bonham had a son and they are now reunited and are gonna tour in london!!!wohoo..lateley they have a new compilation of music called mothership.

Now on to plants lyrics..very much of plant's lyrics are very mythical alot about the lord of the rings and norse mythology like no quarter which refers to thor and immigrant song which refers to valhalla and viking conquests.Ramble on would be another example of a lord of the rings inspired song...And other would include his songs wich were inspired by sexual innuendo like love and so on.like black dog..rain song...whole lotta love.He also rote abotu his experience in afric in kashmir..

Bon scott of AC/DC...front man of acdc.Born july 9 1946 and passed away on feb 19 1980. scottish born..also the lyricist of acdc.vocals,drums,bagpipes.REal name ronald belford "Bon" scott.He was a member of AC/DC from 1974 to 1980 when he died same year as john lennon.He emigrated to melbourne at the age fo six in 1952.

He was a drummer at first for a band called the spektors in 1964 and occasional lead vocalist.HE perforemed in other bands like The valentines and fraternity before replacing dave evans of AC/DC as the lead singer in 1974.HE was actually working as a driver and general hand in Adelaide in 1974 and he met touring members of AC/DC.Angus and malcom young were not very pleased with dave evans as his style waas more like glam metal and therefore wanted some one to replace him.Bon beign their driver asked if he could be thier durmmer but the band kept saying they needed a singer and not a drummer..Therefore bon scott replaced dave evans in 1974..With the Young brothers as lead and rhythm guitarists, drummer Tony Currenti and George Young as a temporary bassist, AC/DC released High Voltage, their first LP in Australia in February 1975.BUt soon currenti was replaced by phil rudd..and mark evans as a bassist.Bon then did T.N.T,dirty deeds done cheap, let there be rock, highway to hell and if you want blood you've got it. Highway to hell was the band's best album among the six to reach the top 100 spot as #17.

Bon scott then died in february 19,1980. He passed out after a night of heavy drinking in a London club called MusicMachine and was left to sleep in a car owned by an acquaintance named Alistair Kinnear, on 67 Overhill Road in East Dulwich, South London. The following afternoon, after Kinnear had found Scott lifeless and alerted authorities, Scott was rushed to King's College Hospital in Camberwell, where Scott was pronounced dead on arrival. Although common folklore claims that pulmonary aspiration of vomit or drugs were the cause of Scott's death, the official cause was listed as "acute alcohol poisoning" and "death by misadventure." Scott was cremated and his ashes were interred by his family in Fremantle, the area to which they had emigrated when he was a child.some say Scott died of a heroin overdose, or was killed by exhaust fumes redirected into the car, or that Kinnear did not exist. Additionally, Scott was asthmatic, and the temperature was below freezing on the morning of his death.

He was then replaced by brain johnson and the group then rocorded back in black as a tribute to bon and also did a box set called bonfire as a tribute to him.He was inducted to the rock n roll hall of fame in 2003 and was ranked no.1 in the top 100 frontmen of rock ahead of freddie mercury and robert plant in a july 2004 issue of a UK mag called classic rock.

Another encouter with a satirist, al franken..was when he played raquet ball with gene and gene also said that he was going to kick his ass but gene still lost..and he asked for a rematch and when franken said his partner came back and he need not play..simmons made loud chicken sounds..franken plays simmons with 500 bucks at steak which he takes away.He is also known for insulting muslims at one point of time..

Its an awesome must watch documentary about metal and its origins and why peopel finsd. Its a is a 2005 documentary directed by Sam Dunn with Scot McFadyen and Jessica Wise. It follows a 31 year old sam dunn a Canadian anthropologist, who has been a heavy metal fan since the age of 12. He sets out across the world to uncover the various opinions on heavy metal music, including its origins, culture, controversy, and reasons it is loved by so many people.The film made its debut at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival, and was released as a two-disc special edition DVD in the US on September 19, 2006.

Dunn uses a family-tree-type flowchart to document some of the most popular metal subgenres. The film also explores various aspects of heavy metal culture. Notable segments include Dunn taking a trip to the Wacken Open Air festival, an interview with Dee Snider providing an analysis of the PMRC attack on heavy metal music, and an interview with several Norwegian black metal bands, many of which whom support Satanism and openly discuss the burning of Norwegian churches.

There is power metal like accept, black majesty, blind guardian. Paul mccartney ( according to an old documentary i found on youtube and a book called rocklists which my very good friend dillon keshvani lent me) is supposedly not paul at all..but was secretly replaced by an uncanny lookalike.allegedly he died ina car crash.Evidence for McCartney's death consists of "clues" found among The Beatles many recordings, most of which are treated as if they were deliberately placed by The Beatles or others—as if McCartney's death was a mystery to be solved by the public. They include statements allegedly heard when a song is played backwards, symbolism found in obscure lyrics, and ambiguous imagery on album covers. And on the abbey road album.AS we can see paul is holding a cigarette on his right hand despit he being a left hander. Moreover, paul is the only one barefoot and closing his eyes meaning the sign of a corpse.And the car number plate "LMW 281F" which if read 28 if may refer to the fact that paul would be 28 years old at that time.McCartney was actually 27 when the picture was taken. "LMW" is said to stand for "Linda, My Wife," "Linda McCartney, Widow," or "Linda McCartney Wees".The four Beatles on the album cover, according to the "Paul is Dead" myth, represent the priest (John, dressed in white), the undertaker (Ringo in a black suit), the corpse (Paul, in a suit but barefoot—like a body in a casket), and the gravedigger (George, in jeans and a denim work shirt).

Randy had a short carrer but he is still one of the most influential guitarists of all time.(December 6, 1956 – March 19, 1982) was an American heavy metal guitarist who is best known for playing with Ozzy Osbourne. A devoted student of classical guitar, Rhoads often combined his classical music influences with his own heavy metal style. While on tour with Ozzy Osbourne, he would often seek out classical guitar tutors for lessons.

Rhoads was born on December 6, 1956 at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California. He was the youngest of three children. His older brother, Doug, is a drummer who goes by the name of Kelle Rhoads. His sister's name is Kathy.

When Randy was 17 months old, his father, William Arthur Rhoads, left his mother, Delores Rhoads, and the three children. he started playing acoustic at the age of 6 and later started to play folk guitar whcih was atthat time a famous way to learn how to play guitar.

In 1979, ozzy, who was fired by his wife sharon osbourne from black sabbath wanted to start a new band . Future Slaughter bassist Dana Strum recommended Rhoads to Osbourne. Rhoads got the call for the audition just before his final show with Quiet Riot. He walked in with his Les Paul guitar and a practice amp and started warming up; Osbourne immediately gave him the job. Rhoads recalled later, "I just tuned up and did some riffs, and he said, 'You've got the gig.' I had the weirdest feeling, because I thought, 'You didn't even hear me yet.'" Osbourne described Rhoads' playing as "God entering my life." Rhoads subsequently recommended his friend Greg Leon, who also taught guitar at Musonia for Rhoads' mother, to replace him in Quiet Riot, and then moved to the UK.

They made their first album together called blizzard of ozz with hit tracks mr crowley and crazy train.Acoording to me and many others.. the all star ozzy band was tommy aldridge on drums rudy sarzo on bass randy on guitar and ozzy (obviously) vocals.

The band toured extensively and then quickly wrote and recorded a follow-up album. Diary of a Madman was released shortly thereafter and Osbourne launched another tour with this same lineup. Around this time Rhoads remarked to Osbourne, Tommy Aldridge and friend Kelly Garni that he was considering leaving rock for a few years to earn a degree in classical guitar.

How did he die ..sad death this will tell ya..
Rhoads' tomb, San Bernardino, Calif.On March 19, 1982, the band was headed to a festival in Orlando, Florida, when they stopped at the owner of the bus company's house, Jerry Calhoun, in Leesburg, Florida after driving much of the night. The driver, Andrew Aycock, took Rhoads and hairdresser Rachel Youngblood on a flight in a Beechcraft Bonanza he had taken without permission. Apparently, during the flight, an attempt was made to "buzz" the tour bus where the other band members were sleeping. They succeeded three times but the fourth time it went horribly wrong. this week it would have to be the star and the dude who broke his finger just ebfore his reunion concert with led zep..but still doesnt seperate him from nbeing a legendary guitarist...now on to his bio..all i know...his real name is james patrick page.. bron in jan 9 1944 born in heston,middlsex,england..he's also a songwriter and a producer plays teh guitar, bass, banjo and mandolin. he started off with the yardbirds with great influence from eric clapton whol left the band coz it was too pop then it was led zeppelin which jim joined and gained lots fo fame and played awesomely well..along with john paul jones,john henry bonham and robert plant..jim is particularly well know with his signature guitar gibson les paul..and marchall amplfier.Page is famous for playing his guitar with a cello bow, as on the songs "Dazed and Confused", "How Many More Times" and in the interlude of "Whole Lotta Love". This was a technique he developed during his session days, although strictly speaking he was not the first guitarist to use a violin bow, since Eddie Phillips of The Creation had done so prior to Page. The Creation was one of the bands managed by Shel Talmy, whom Page had worked for as a session musician.[10] On MTV's Led Zeppelin Rockumentary, Page said that he obtained the idea of playing the guitar with a bow from David McCallum, Sr. who was also a session musician. Page used his Fender Telecaster and later his Gibson Les Paul for his bow solos.He used a Wah-wah pedal but not always in the traditional way of rocking it back and forth as done by Jimi Hendrix and other contemporaries; instead, he put it fully forward in the treble position to get a sharper tone.

well black sabbath concert's over but i feel its not sabbath without ozzy dio just cant sing ozzy songs....anyway.upcoming concerts include the led zeppelin reunion concert..in london but i think its been postponed coz jimmy broke his thumb or somehting like that...and there's dream theater on 8th jan in singapore fort canning...cant wait man..portnoy awesome solos...petrucci awesome guitar solos and myung awesome bass not forgetting kevin moores the keyboardist and james labrie the singer..hope they perform pull me under their best song to me including honor thy father...i mean portnoy has this ritual where they dont perform the same song if they had performed it before at that place...i hope they didnt do so in singa..and lately constant motion is nice..but portnoy uses too much double bass but heck he still rocks..really wish red hot chili peppers would tour in singapore for their future albums...and rage against the machine is reuniting with zack de la rocha..i thought they were better in rage so energetic but audio slave was tehir softer side..er...the new movie bout' kurt cobain coming up cant remember teh title if im not rong theer was an earlier movie in 2005 called last days based on kurt and it was pretty weird coz the guy can be seen writing his songs in his left hand but playing guitar with his right hand in contrast to kurt's left hander...hope van halen tours too they were great in the 80's really lively

I would call it cross over.... and it would have a bassist drummer singer and two guitarists.Bassist i would choose Flea of red hot chili peppers..he's so pro i would have chosen geddy lee of rush but i thought flea was more of an entertainer...next would be neil peart of rush as drummer..he rocks would have chosen mik portnoy but neil peart is more legendary...singer would be erm...Bruce dickinson..would have chosen alot more liek freddie,robert plant and so on..lead would be jimmy page and second would be erm.. either dave gilmour or eric clapton but i would go with eric clapton....
so there u go..
